Ensure that all kitchen equipment are properly maintained and service to upkeep all equipment and to avoid breakdown
Perform preventive maintenance and completes the turn-over quickly and efficiently in order to satisfy and meet the Guest needs
Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests\' and employees\' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
Respond to breakdowns of equipment and being available in case of emergency and applying the appropriate action as per Hotel policy and standards
Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
Offer guidance to kitchen staff on best practices for equipment care to maximize efficiency and prevent damage.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience as a Kitchen Technician or in a similar position is desired
Experience is the hospitality industry is preferred
Technical expertise in repairing and maintaining kitchen equipment and appliances.
Awareness of safety regulations and compliance standards for kitchen equipment.
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as a part of a team with minimal supervision.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility in terms of shifts working hours
