Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our team. The Kitchen Steward will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and upholding our high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
• Clean and maintain kitchen work areas, including floors, walls, and surfaces.
• Remove and properly dispose of trash, recyclables, and food waste.
• Assist with the receiving and storing of deliveries, ensuring proper inventory rotation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Support kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed, such as food prep or equipment setup.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications :

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
• Familiarity with sanitation and safety guidelines (training provided if necessary).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
