Are you passionate about creating nutritious meals for children and being a part of an educational community? Slices - a school food provider is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our kitchen team as kitchen staff, cooks and stewards. Kitchen staff: > Assist in the preparation and serving of school meals > Help with the planning and preparation of balanced, nutritious menus > Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment > Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Cook: > Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus > Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and is visually appealing > Assist in kitchen operations and coordinate with kitchen staff > Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety Steward: > Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment > Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen > Dispose trash and recyclables properly > Support the kitchen staff as needed Requirement: > Previous experience is a kitchen or food service environment > Ability to work in a fast-paced setting > Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety > Flexibility to work early mornings > A passion for working in a school environment > Relevant food safety and handling certification is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: From AED1,800.00 per month Application Deadline: 30/06/2024
