Job Type: Full-timeResponsibilities:
Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
Ensure the kitchen is clean, well-organized, and properly stocked.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Help with the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
Handle basic cooking tasks, such as grilling, frying, and boiling as directed.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
Dispose of garbage and waste in accordance with restaurant policies.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
Support the kitchen team with any additional tasks as needed.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus.
Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and take initiative.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
