Job Title: Kitchen Helper

Location: COMO Lounge - Al Kheebisi, Al Ayn, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Position Overview: We are looking for a diligent and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. The Kitchen Helper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen, assisting in food preparation, and ensuring that safety and sanitation standards are upheld. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and be eager to contribute to the overall success of the kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Kitchen Cleanliness and Safety:
• Ensure the kitchen and food areas are clean and safe at all times.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Stock Management:
• Stock and restock kitchen items as needed, ensuring all supplies are readily available.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, with all items correctly labeled with dates.
• Food Preparation:
• Assist in the preparation of food, ensuring that quality and presentation standards are consistently met.
• Support the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of dishes.
• Team Collaboration:
• Follow the guidance of the Chef de Partie (CDP) and Commis 1 to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to meet the demands of a busy service.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Team Player: Ability to work well under the direction of senior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
