Full job description
The Kitchen Chef is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and staff management. They ensure that all meals are prepared to the restaurant's standards of quality, flavor, and presentation while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an authentic Yemeni cuisine menu, featuring dishes like Mandi and other traditional items.
Ensure consistency in flavor, portion size, and presentation of all menu items.
Monitor food preparation to ensure quality control, taste, and presentation of each dish.
Lead and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests.
Respond to customer feedback and adjust dishes as necessary to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications :
• At least 5 years of experience as a Kitchen Chef or similar role in Yemeni cuisine
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques.
• Leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team.
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
