Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and kitchen supplies, monitoring inventory levels and restocking as needed.
- Dispose of waste and garbage following health and safety regulations.
- Help with basic cooking tasks, such as making salads, sandwiches, and simple dishes under supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
