  • Assemble IKEA products, including furniture and fixtures, according to company guidelines and customer requirements.
  • Install and adjust products in customer homes or commercial spaces, ensuring proper fit and function.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns about product assembly or installation.
  • Offer guidance and recommendations on product use and maintenance.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Gain and maintain thorough knowledge of IKEA\'s product lines, including materials, assembly instructions, and design features.
  • Stay updated on new product releases and changes to existing products.
  • Quality Control:
  • Ensure all assemblies and installations meet IKEA\'s quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct final checks to ensure products are securely installed and functioning properly.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during assembly and installation tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with IKEA\'s standards and local building codes.
  • Tool and Equipment Management:
  • Use and maintain carpentry tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Manage and care for IKEA-provided tools and ensure they are returned in proper condition.
  • Training and Development:
  • Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge related to IKEA products and installation techniques.
  • Share best practices and insights with colleagues to enhance team performance.
Required Skills to be successful
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using carpentry tools and assembly equipment.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in following assembly instructions and ensuring high-quality results.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve issues that arise during assembly or installation.

What equips you for the role
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in carpentry is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience with furniture assembly or installation is preferred; familiarity with IKEA products is advantageous.
