SUMMARY OF THE ROLEAs a Key Account Manager, you will sell and promote performance coatings products to the key accounts infrastructure customers within Abu Dhabi including main contractors, consultants, steel fabricators and professional applicators by applying Jotuns sales tools and techniques, provide services and solutions, identify new business development opportunities and maintain customer relationships in order to achieve the job key performance indicators (KPI's) of sales targets, gross margin, days sales outstanding (DSO) and targeted market shares.This job is a standalone role, supporting all the infrastructure customers in all categories.This position reports to the Segment Manager Performance Coatings and will be based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and seek new business opportunities in Abu Dhabi market by targeting new customers to increase our market share and profitability.
  • Introduce, promote, and sell a range of performance coating products in Abu Dhabi through regular customer visits to maintain good relationships and obtain market information.
  • Follow-up on projects by coordinating and monitoring closely with project personnel to ensure Jotun products are used to achieve the sales KPIs.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve and escalate specific customer problems and ensure closure with high customers satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, good customer service, and achieve company goals.
  • Monitor collections to ensure customer payment is received within an agreed term to achieve budgeted days sales outstanding.
  • Responsible for market mapping and expansion within Abu Dhabi by keeping current data updated with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors to increase Jotun's market share.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFERWe are looking for a candidate who:
  • Bachelors degree in engineering/chemical engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience of 5-7 years in sales, preferably handling key accounts in the coatings or infrastructure industry.
  • A strong understanding of the Abu Dhabi market and key players in the infrastructure sector is an advantage.
  • Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Office, CRM software, and sales analytics tools.
  • Having a GCC light vehicle driving license is an advantage
