Roles & Responsibilities The fundamental role of an auditor is defined as "reporting on whether the annual accounts show 'a true and fair view' of the company's financial activity and position to its shareholders." Auditing affects all businesses and by being an auditor you will have the opportunity to take a deep dive into the inner workings across a variety of industries. Further on, the auditor will get an opportunity to meet lots of interesting, experienced people and develop in-demand skills in addition to having access to senior business owners from all kinds of different sectors. As a Junior/Senior Auditor you shall be responsible for assisting in the audit of financial statements, conducting internal control reviews, and performing various other auditing tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 2-3 years of relevant experience to further develop their auditing skills and contribute to our reputable firm. Responsibilities: . Verify the relevant documents and confirm that the company's record of its cash balances agrees with the bank statements. . Verify that the company owns the fixed assets with relevant documents, its accounts exist and that these are recorded at the correct value. . Ensuring that the list of company suppliers and customers is complete and assist in obtaining balance confirmation letters. . Assist in the audit of clients' financial statements and prepare working papers. . Attending for stock-in-trade verification to observe the company's methods for recording stock and test-counting a sample . Conduct internal control reviews and assess compliance with established policies and procedures. Skills & Qualifications . Semi-qualified CA / ICWA / Postgraduate/ bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field . Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in auditing, preferably in a reputable audit firm . Strong knowledge of auditing principles, techniques, and standards . Proficiency in using auditing software and MS Office applications . Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills . Attention to detail and ability to work with precision . Strong communication and interpersonal skills . Stress resistance . Commitment to providing high quality work .
