Junior Sous ChefAfya Restaurant, Traders Hotel Qaryat Al Beri, Abu DhabiWe have a great opportunity for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our team in our All Day Dining restaurant. The successful applicant will have a passion for cooking and a gift for presentation, The person will assist in the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.What are we looking for?
- A clear Passion for food and the culinary arts.
- Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management School.
- Trainer for all Food Hygiene Courses and HACCP Courses.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in a 4* or 5* hotel with various positions from Commis, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef.
- Knowledge in computer (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Be responsible for overall culinary operation including purchasing, receiving, storage and product control
- Help plan and implement creative menus.
- Work closely with the Chef De Cuisine to assure smooth running in all aspects of the culinary operation.
- Ensure the realisation of team established quality and service standards.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness/orderliness at the bar and surrounding areas.
