:Wood is currently recruiting for a Junior Process Engineer (UAE Nationals) to work in our Abu Dhabi office. Graduates will get opportunity to work in the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas industry as we look to meet our client\'s needs and exceed their expectations in the conceptual engineering studies, pre - FEED, FEED, EPC and PMC ProjectsResponsibilities:
Understanding of Engineering practices, design methods and calculations
Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to their discipline of engineering
Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context
Competence in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution
Knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation.
Competence in own discipline in the execution of assigned tasks.
Knowledge of industry and technology development within discipline area
Ability to comprehend, interpret and prepare applicable technical information and suggest design changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results
Demonstrates awareness of policies and procedures that affect specific job assignments
Ability to prepare accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written communications and reports
Good level of general computer literacy and basic familiarity with some relevant specialist engineering software
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in chemical engineering.
1-3 years of relevant experience preferably in the oil and gas industry or a related engineering field.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in engineering software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
