We operate in 38 countries and 136 airports globally.To provide required support to Technicians and assist in carrying out all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, servicing, fault diagnosis and repair on all Material Handling System and Equipment maintained at various Cargo terminals. This includes housekeeping and ad hoc tasks as assigned. Job holder is expected to have basic knowledge in electrical, electronics, mechanical, hydraulics and refrigeration system.In this role, you will:
Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various types of Material Handling Systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and Electrical issues on roller decks, truck docks, transfer vehicles and lifting hoists.
Assists in carrying out scheduled maintenance as per set standards (includes manufacturer\'s recommendation, ISO certification requirements, safety standards, and all Legal & regulatory requirements) on the various equipment/vehicles and plants to ensure reliable/optimum utilization of the same. Assists in the daily inspection of all equipment/vehicles and plant for operational reliability & safety, to help plan for corrective maintenance and to prevent accidents in the operational area.
Informs the Maintenance Technician/Senior Maintenance Technician of any spare parts & tools that are needed to ensure timely completion of all maintenance works.
Ensures that standard safety procedures are followed during maintenance activities to prevent any personal injury or equipment/vehicle and plant damage.
To qualify for the role, you must meet the below.
10 years schooling or equivalent with Technical certification in an Engineering discipline.
2 years of experience in maintenance and repairs within a maintenance organisation or material handling, Cargo handling industry.
Knowledge of material handling equipment mechanical, electrical, electronic and refrigeration systems, which. Experience in maintenance of Cargo Material Handling Systems would be an advantage.
Experience working on fixed material handling plant and equipment, such as production line equipment, roller decks, truck docks, transfer vehicles and lifting hoists. PLC and hydraulics experience preferred.
