Sponsored visa preferred We are looking for a creative Interior Designer/ Draftsman to assist our design team in turning concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of interior design principles, exceptional drafting skills, and proficiency in using design software and other related tools. The Draftsman will work closely with the design team to accurately translate their ideas into precise and comprehensive drawings. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, sketches, and plans using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
- Develop accurate and comprehensive construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Ensure that drawings comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in selecting and specifying appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings.
- Conduct on-site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from the design team, clients, and contractors.
- Maintain an organized library of design drawings and documents.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in drafting and design.
- Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Design Draftsman or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit) and other design tools.
- Strong technical skills in creating detailed and accurate drawings.
- Excellent understanding of interior design principles, construction techniques, and materials.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise drawings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines.
