We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Junior Interior Designer with hands-on joinery and fit-out experience to join our dynamic team.

As a Junior Interior Designer at Italco Interiors , you will be involved in the complete design and execution process, with a focus on joinery and fit-out projects. From concept development to project completion, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality designs. You will work closely with senior designers, project managers, and construction teams, ensuring that every aspect of the project meets our client's specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create detailed interior design concepts and layouts for joinery and fit-out projects.
• Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and material specifications to clients.
• Develop detailed drawings, plans, and 3D visualizations using design software.
• Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, furniture, and fittings, ensuring the design vision is executed with precision.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Manage site visits, ensuring the design is implemented according to plans and resolving any on-site challenges.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations, building codes, and health & safety standards.
• Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Handle quality control checks throughout the construction and fit-out phases.
• Communicate regularly with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in interior design, specifically with joinery and fit-out projects in the UAE.
• Proven experience in managing the full project lifecycle, from design to project completion.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, fit-out processes, and material selection.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software.
• Good understanding of local construction regulations, building codes, and project management practices in the UAE.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
• Knowledge of project management tools and software is a plus.
• A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
