Position Overview:

As a Junior Interior Designer, you will work closely with senior designers and the design team on various residential and commercial projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience in the field of interior design. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a strong eye for detail, who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the conceptualization and design development of projects.
• Create mood boards, floor plans, 3D visualizations, and presentations for client meetings.
• Source materials, furnishings, and decor that align with the design vision.
• Prepare and edit design drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Support senior designers with the management of design projects from start to finish.
• Conduct site visits to measure spaces and ensure design implementation aligns with client expectations.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and materials in the interior design industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Knowledge of building codes, design standards, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about design.
