Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator with experience in interior fit-outs to join our team. The Junior Estimator will be responsible for assisting in preparing accurate and timely estimates for upcoming projects, ensuring that all aspects of cost, materials, and labor are meticulously evaluated to support the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects based on drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to understand project scope, materials required, and labor involved.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Research and evaluate materials, equipment, and labor costs to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare and submit detailed proposals that outline the scope of work, pricing, and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and related correspondence.
• Monitor and track project costs throughout the duration of the project.
• Support project teams with value engineering ideas to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience 1 -2 years as an estimator within the interior fit-out industry.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
