Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Engineer to join our Estimation Department. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering principles, strong skills in AutoCAD and Excel, and a keen interest in the oil and gas industry. This role involves supporting the estimation team in preparing accurate and competitive bids for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates for materials and services related to oil and gas projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create and modify project drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Develop and maintain estimation databases and spreadsheets using Excel to track pricing, quantities, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to gather relevant data for bid preparation.
• Conduct market research to identify material costs and supplier capabilities.
• Review technical documentation and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and assist in presenting estimation findings to internal stakeholders.
• Support the continuous improvement of estimation processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design tasks.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Basic knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and practices is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
