We are seeking a Junior Civil Engineer with UAE experience to join our team, who will report to the Senior Civil Engineer & Operations Manager.

Job Summary: The Civil Engineer will be responsible to work the Manager of Operations and the Site Operations Team in overseeing and managing renovations, fit-outs, and construction projects from inception to completion. This includes project planning, operations, and estimation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the UAE construction industry, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. The candidate must know how to estimate projects upon receiving design plans, drawings, and conducting site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive project plans, blueprints, and specifications that meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Site Investigation and Analysis: Conduct thorough site investigations to assess conditions, materials, and other factors that influence project design and feasibility.
• Construction Supervision: Oversee all phases of construction activities, ensuring projects are executed according to plan, on schedule, and within budget.
• Cost Estimation and Quoting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotes for projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Manage budgets and track project expenses.
• Operations Management: Coordinate and manage daily operations on-site, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with UAE building codes, regulations, and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and materials are maintained.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication, effective coordination, and successful project outcomes.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any engineering or operational issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including progress reports, technical drawings, and financial records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Must be a member of the Society of Engineers in the UAE.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering within the UAE, with a focus on renovations, fit-outs, and construction.
• Strong project planning, operations, and estimation skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
