Job Description

We are seeking a

Junior Civil Draftsman

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing detailed technical drawings and plans, working closely with engineers and architects to ensure project requirements are met. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and revise detailed drawings for civil engineering projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and senior draftsmen to interpret design requirements and specifications. Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit) to create accurate and detailed plans, sections, and elevations. Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations in all drafting activities. Assist in creating Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and other technical documentation. Review and incorporate feedback into designs and drawings as required. Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.

Qualifications and Skills

Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit. Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in drafting for civil engineering or construction projects is a plus. Knowledge of 3D modeling software and BIM practices. Familiarity with local building regulations and standards.
