POSITION SNAPSHOT Location: Dubai, UAE Company: Nespresso Full-time POSITION SUMMARY As the Jr Business Controller for Nespresso MEA, you will support the F&C Manager to handle MEA Distributor markets, while you support the decision support specialist in closing and forecasting activities and be able to act as full back-up. You will act as the linking pin between both roles, while you assume responsibility in facing both business and finance stakeholders across the organization and act as a Co-Pilot to ensure business development and decision making in the market. Operational Performance - Management of Sales Reporting and Forecasting. Ensure accruate and timely monthly sales reporting, including providing analysis and insights into the results. Consolidated selected KPIs and review into actionable summary information in order to provide high quality data as well as reliable measurement of selected KPI's.
Monitors trade and marketing related spend, fostering a mentality of "challenging the usual", and instil business manager behaviour / ROI culture. Optimize investments
Decision Support - Support Decision Support Specialist (with Period End Closing, OR & AR Managment, CN, DN, ICO & AP webform processing, PFME & Allowances processing and handling the pre-work related to business controlling (selling price calculation, enabling collection of distributors information) and be able to act as full back-up.
Internal Controls - Comply with Nestl\xc3\xa9 and Nespresso guidelines and ensure sound level of internal control
Ensure the awareness and implementation of guidelines are understood, followed-up and adhered to. Supports Decision Support on driving efficient controls/compliance and in acting as the support on Internal Controls.
Forecasting - Manage the accurate and timely production of monthly and full-year forecasts and relevant financial reports across the management team/markets. Consolidate selected KPIs and review into actionable summary information in order to provide high quality data / timely framework, as well as the reliable measurement of the selected KPIs.
Co-Pilot Business Strategy - Ensure quality financial information is used by the business for decision making and that potential risks and opportunities are anticipated and understood.
Report Structural Cost expenditure, ensuring "on budget" mindset whilst driving efficient use of resources
Portfolio Optimization - Analyse and challenge product cost performance and product portfolio (distributor level) to identify cost optimization opportunities, eliminate Value Destroyers and maximise the return on investment from TTS/PFME (including revised pricing structures) and from the capital asset base.
Project Management - Support special projects: Commercial, restructuring, distributor transfer and efficiency driving
What will make you successful
Demonstrated sustained performance in Finance & Controlling (F&C) functional area.
Active involvement in local Process Efficiency and Best Practice Projects.
Education in Finance-related fields such as Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Eagerness to learn and adapt, particularly in a transformative environment.
Flexibility, agility, and a proactive attitude are essential traits for success in this role.
