Junior Base EngineerFugro Middle East has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Base Engineer.The successful candidate will work closely with Survey Engineering Manager/UAE on all equipment and project related requirements in order to develop and build multiple skills required by all Service Lines. Responsible to fulfil the survey equipment requirements for projects within the agreed time frame.
Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, standard and in-house applications.
Troubleshoot survey equipment and solve hardware and software faults.
Perform preventative maintenance for survey equipment.
Provides support to ongoing project in the field.
Oversee all equipment testing and repairs
Responsible for workshop housekeeping
In conjunction with Survey Engineering Manager/UAE, design and implement planned maintenance programme for all equipment
Maintain Equipment Failure Service Report archive
Maintain Equipment Calibration Tracking report
Maintain monthly Equipment Repair report
Perform site/vessel visits as required to assist project activities.
Coordinate with procurement team to purchase /rent survey equipment based on project requirements.
You bring (qualifications & experience)
Bachelor's in Electronic Engineering
0-3 years experience.
Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
