Junior Architect/architect
Job Description
We are a growing, highly collaborative firm with a progressive, upbeat culture looking for a go-getter to help us to the next level. We are searching for an architect/interior designer with a good knowledge of the world of architecture and interior design, of the related luxury brands, materials and their application. The candidate will have to develop the project in line with the approved concept and then carry out the various project phases including schematic and detail design (architecture, interiors, joinery details etc)
Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe and Office Package is required.
Only candidates providing a detailed portfolio of their own work will be considered.
Typical duties and responsibilities
Develop and review building drawings in collaboration with design and architect teams
Production of technically sound detailed architectural drawings and schedules in accordance with the concept design presentation
Research of new technical solutions and materials to meet concept design requirements
Coordination of deliverables with other engineering disciplines
Ensuring design compliance with client needs
Manage communication with suppliers, vendors and contractors as needed by project development
Work on multiple projects
Participation in the design process
Prepare presentations for client meetings
Education and experience
Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Demonstrated history of well-done drawings and project development
Detail-oriented & highly organized
Minimum 2+ years of experience in architecture and interior design within UAE
Required skills and qualifications
Keen attention to details
Experience in high end and luxury projects in the field of residential and hospitality
Proficiency in working with CAD software, SketchUp and other design application
Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure, organize, and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to work independently
Experience in working with rendering software is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
