Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Arabic speaking Accounting & Administrative Officer to join our furniture supply company. The incumbent will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations for our Saudi Arabia Operations. The position will also be responsible for Administration work including Business compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Administration

Office and HR administrative work that includes liaising with outsourced PRO for company licensing, Government remittances and other compliance work.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Generate timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions. Record and classify expenses, revenue, and other financial entries.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, approval, and timely payment.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and maintain customer payment records. Collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate inventory data and cost allocation.
• Provide insights into cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies. Collaborate with relevant departments to gather information for budgeting purposes. Assist with audits and financial reviews, providing necessary documentation and information.
• Participate in the implementation of new financial systems or software.
• Inventory Accounting: Monitor and reconcile inventory records, ensuring accurate valuation and tracking of raw materials and finished goods.
• Cost Analysis: Calculate and analyze product costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to support pricing decisions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts, tracking performance against targets, and identifying variances.
• Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, including tax requirements and reporting.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the finance function and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Financial Software: Utilize accounting software and tools to manage financial data, journal entries, and reporting effectively.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, within a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
