About the Work We\'re looking for a junior accountant slash bookkeeper based in Dubai. You will have a knack for numbers and a love for being financially organized. You\'ll be the one responsible for keeping our financial records in check and ensuring everything adds up smoothly. This is a vital role that we\'re looking to fill quickly, so we need someone reliable, detail-oriented and available to start asap.
Who Should Apply
Previous experience as an accountant and bookkeeper at a media company or advertising agency in the UAE is a big plus. You should be fluent in English. If you speak Arabic too, that\'s a huge plus. Top candidates will have an understanding of working in a start-up environment or have exposure dealing with a business focused on fast-paced execution. If you\'re young, have excellent professional accomplishments in the UAE and you\'re ready to join a team of obsessive content creators and business builders, what are you waiting for?
Things you\'ll be doing 1. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable 2. Process invoices, expense reports, salary payments and reimbursements 3. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions 4. Prepare financial reports for management 5. Assist with budgeting and forecasting 6. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions 7. Work closely with our accounting agency to ensure compliance with accounting standards 8. Help out with general administrative tasks when needed (we\'re all about teamwork)
