Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting at a Cafe or restaurants. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and have strong analytical skills. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow your career in the financial field.Responsibilities: * Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial data for audits.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee records.
- Provide support to the senior accounting team as needed.
- 1-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of UAE tax regulations is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA is a plus.
