As a Junior Accountant , you will play a key role in supporting the accounting team with day-to-day accounting functions. You will be responsible for processing financial transactions, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine bookkeeping tasks, including entering financial transactions, updating general ledgers, and maintaining accurate records. Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all transactions are accounted for. Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Support senior accountants with month-end and year-end closing processes. Help in preparing tax-related documentation and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering financial data and tracking expenses. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices and payments. Collaborate with other departments and respond to inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and financial transactions. Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous accounting experience is a plus but not required.
