Invoice Management
• Create, process, and maintain invoices for customer and supplier transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for clients and manage follow-ups for pending payments.
Inventory Accounting
• Record and update inventory entries related to purchases, sales, and wastage.
• Reconcile inventory records with physical counts periodically to maintain accuracy.
• Financial Data Entry
• Input and maintain accurate data for daily transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
• Ensure correct categorization of all entries for proper financial tracking.
Profit & Loss (P&L) Statements
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly P&L statements.
• Track revenue and expenses to provide clear visibility on profitability.
• Balance Sheet Maintenance
• Support the preparation and reconciliation of balance sheets.
• Ensure accurate recording of assets, liabilities, and equity entries.
Tax Return Preparation
• Assist in compiling data for monthly and annual tax returns, including VAT/GST.
• Work closely with tax consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Bank Reconciliation
• Perform monthly reconciliation of bank statements to ensure alignment with company records.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve any differences promptly.
Accounts Reconciliation
• Conduct regular reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients to clear any outstanding balances.
• Support Audit Activities
• Assist in preparing necessary documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
• Respond to auditor queries and work to resolve issues as they arise.
• Financial Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain well-organized financial records and documentation to support financial activities.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly financial reports for management review.
• Expense Management
• Track and record business expenses, verifying adherence to company policies.
• Assist in the monthly reconciliation of expense accounts.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Odoo,Tally, or SAP).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with local tax and regulatory compliance is a plus.
