As a Junior Accountant , you will be a key member of the finance department, responsible for assisting in the preparation and management of financial transactions. Your role will involve supporting day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and contributing to financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and processing receipts.
• Record daily transactions in the general ledger and ensure proper coding of expenses and revenue.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring they are in line with the budget.
• Oversee and maintain the petty cash fund, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely replenishment.
• Assist in the preparation and processing of employee payroll, ensuring accuracy in wage calculations, deductions, and timely payments.
• Perform general office duties related to accounting functions, as required by the finance team.
• Assist with VAT calculations, filing VAT returns, and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations.
• Process vendor invoices and payments, monitor customer accounts, and ensure timely collections.

Qualifications:

• Education : A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in accounting or finance in UAE.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of accounting software Tally.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with financial data.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
