- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industries - Preparing tools, materials, and spare parts for maintenance activities - Practical knowledge of calibration and troubleshooting of field instrumentation - Performing all CMs and PMs on Instrumentation jobs in accordance with SAP - Carrying out maintenance activities as per manufacturer instructions and industry best practices - Supervising maintenance and repair activities by contract personnel & sub-contractors - Monitoring the performance of instrumentation equipment - Assisting the Instrument Engineer in maintaining and troubleshooting instrumentation equipment - Providing technical support to ASU operations teams - Maintaining, updating, backing up, troubleshooting, and modifying DCS control system - Supporting instrument maintenance & troubleshooting activities on Ruwais/Mirfa site - Reporting all unsafe acts, injuries, incidents, and accidents - Familiarity with HSE requirements related to operational oil & gas facility, risk identification, mitigation controls, and permit-to-work system - Working during emergency, unplanned, and scheduled outages - Working on heights and on scaffolding - Attending Toolbox meetings to establish scope of work activities - Identifying spare parts required for instrumentation maintenance work - Observing operation abnormalities and reporting any defects to the supervisor - Good command of the English language and excellent team spirit.Taurus Contractors (www.tauruscontractors.com) offers a broad range of recruitment and staffing services, which include expatriate and local specialists, engineers and technical personnel on contract and permanent hire.
