Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Having 2 to 3 years experience as a Estimator in Construction Company
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Cost Estimates : Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects including material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Quantity Takeoffs : Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from project drawings, specifications, and other documents.
• Data Analysis : Analyze project specifications and blueprints to identify potential cost impacts and provide accurate cost projections.
• Software Utilization : Use estimation software and spreadsheet applications (Excel) to develop and manage estimates.
• Documentation : Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all estimates, including assumptions, clarifications, and exclusions.
• Bid Preparation : Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including gathering and organizing necessary documentation and supporting information.
• Vendor Liaison : Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing for materials and services.
• Cost Monitoring : Support the monitoring of project costs during execution to ensure adherence to budget and identify potential overruns.
• Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide accurate cost data.
• Reports : Generate periodic reports on estimates, budget status, and variances for review by senior management.
