Position: Jr. Estimation engineer and Project coordinator (ELV Systems)

Job description:
We are currently looking for Jr. Presales Engineer and Procurement coordinator specialized in Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems. In this role, you will be responsible for preparation of cost estimation and procurement process for materials, services, and equipment. Working closely with various internal departments and external suppliers to ensure that project budgets and timelines are met efficiently, the individual will manage cost analysis, procurement strategies, vendor selection, and ensure compliance with company standards and procurement policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Documentation Management: Maintain detailed records of estimates, procurement orders, and supplier communications. Prepare estimation and procurement reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and project status.
• Cost Estimation: Preparation of accurate cost estimates for ELV systems, encompassing Structured Cabling, CCTV, Access Control, PA & BGM, Gate Barriers, Intercom, Building Management, Parking Management and Home Automation Systems, based on project requirements and technical specifications.
• Procurement Support: Manage the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring that all purchases are made according to project requirements and specifications. Prepare purchase orders and manage the delivery of goods and third-party services in line with Project schedules. Source suppliers, evaluate bids, negotiate terms. Maintain a database of suppliers and vendors, ensuring up-to-date records on pricing, lead times, and performance metrics. Monitor and track procurement orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays on Projects.
• Design or Drawings: Preparation of Shop drawings, As-built drawings as per site and authority regulations for various systems like Structured Cabling, CCTV, Access Control, PA & BGM, Gate Barriers, Intercom and other ELV systems.
• Project Budget and Cost Control: Assist in the development of Project budgets and monitor expenditure throughout the lifecycle of the Project. Implement cost control measures to ensure that procurement activities are within the budget established. Analyze Project cost performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Contract Administration: Preparation, review, and administration of contracts related to ELV systems, including subcontract agreements with customers, suppliers and installation contractors.
Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics or an equivalent field.
• Experience: At least two years of experience in the UAE market, working specifically with ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (specifically for Electrical ELV systems) and Microsoft Excel is required.
• Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with at least four of the following technologies is essential: Structure Cabling, CCTV, Access Control, PA & BGM, Gate Barriers, Intercom, Building Management, Parking Management, Lighting Control System and Home Automation Systems.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively manage priorities and workloads while demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
