We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team at a cutting-edge smart service station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations, and providing insightful financial information to aid in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management:
• Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately using accounting software.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) regularly and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with management.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis reports.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Identify trends, financial risks, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
• Tax Compliance:
• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, income tax, etc.) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Audit and Compliance:
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Reporting and Communication:
• Prepare financial reports for management, shareholders, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven work experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Additional Requirements:
• Knowledge of smart technologies and their application in service station operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to adapt to changing technological and business environments.
