Job Description

The Journey Management Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of journey management within the organization, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of heavy equipment and vehicles in the oil and gas industry. This role involves implementing safety protocols, coordinating transportation logistics, and collaborating with various departments to optimize journey management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

o Develop and implement comprehensive journey management plans and protocols.

o Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations.

o Coordinate transportation logistics for heavy equipment and vehicles.

o Monitor and analyze journey routes to identify and resolve any issues or delays.

o Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.

o Implement preventive measures and recommend improvements to journey management protocols.

o Train and support employees on journey management practices and safety procedures.

o Maintain accurate records of journeys, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.

o Assist in planning and scheduling vehicle maintenance and repairs.

o Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on journey management performance.

o Investigate incidents and accidents to determine causes and implement corrective actions.

o Communicate effectively with various departments to facilitate smooth journey management operations.

o Develop and maintain emergency response plans for transportation-related incidents.

o Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in journey management and transportation safety.

Requirements

o Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.

o Proven experience as a Journey Management Manager or similar role in the oil and gas industry.

o In-depth knowledge of journey management, transportation logistics, and safety regulations.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o Proficiency in journey management software and MS Office Suite.

o Knowledge of the Saudi market and regulatory environment is an advantage.
