Title: Joinery Wood Painter

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Type: Full-time

Reports To: Workshop Supervisor / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming before painting or staining. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, lacquers, and other finishes to wood surfaces as per project requirements. Match and mix colors to achieve desired shades and finishes. Ensure smooth and even application of coatings using spray guns, brushes, and rollers. Inspect finished surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups as necessary. Work closely with carpenters and designers to achieve the desired finishing effect. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper handling and storage of painting materials. Follow health and safety guidelines while handling chemicals and using painting equipment. Perform quality checks to ensure the final product meets project specifications and client expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5 years

of experience as a Wood Painter in the UAE. Expertise in different wood finishing techniques, including staining, polishing, and spray painting. Knowledge of different wood types, paints, stains, and protective coatings. Ability to achieve various finishing effects, including matte, glossy, distressed, and antique looks. Familiarity with painting tools, spray guns, and safety equipment.
