Job Summary: The Joinery Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing joinery projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work meets quality standards, adheres to timelines, and stays within budget. This role involves managing a team of joiners and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver exceptional joinery solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning: Collaborate with clients and project managers to define project scope, objectives, and specifications. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
• Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of joinery teams, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and efficiently. Provide training and mentorship to team members as needed.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of joinery work, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Resource Coordination: Manage the procurement of materials and tools required for projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective sourcing.
• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and any challenges that arise.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including progress reports, change orders, and financial documentation. Ensure all documentation is organized and accessible.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and best practices within the workshop and on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in woodworking, joinery, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in joinery or woodworking, with a background in project supervision or management.
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana) and CAD software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Working Conditions:
• May require occasional travel to project sites.
• Physical demands may include standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
