Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Production Manager to oversee our joinery workshop operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery, woodworking, and manufacturing processes. They will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing workflow efficiency. The Joinery Production Manager will also be tasked with leading a team of joiners, carpenters, and other production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and product quality through regular inspections and quality control measures.
• Resource Management: Manage raw material inventory, tooling, and equipment to ensure availability and optimal utilization.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of joiners and production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Cost Management: Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Client Interaction: Coordinate with project managers and clients to understand requirements and address any production-related issues or changes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role within the joinery or woodworking industry.
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, woodworking machinery, and materials.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control and assurance.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices within a workshop environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Locally Available and can join immediately.
• More than 4 years of experience in the same field.
