Joinery Foreman
Job Description
Roles & Responsibility:
• Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and laborers in the construction
• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily work activities to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of construction tasks.
• Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
• Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve construction issues and optimize workflows.
• Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, and ensure their proper use and maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment used on projects.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as Joinery Foreman
• AUTOCAD and other design and project management tools
• Basic computer skills
KEY SKILLS
• Ability to plan and supervise the work of others.
• Attention to details
• Ability to read blueprints
