As a

Joinery and Fit-Out Estimator

, you will be responsible for preparing precise and competitive cost estimates for joinery and interior fit-out projects. You will work closely with the design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure accurate budgeting, competitive pricing, and successful project acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

Study and analyze architectural and technical drawings to extract scope and quantities Prepare detailed take-offs, BOQs, and material/labor cost breakdowns Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors for comparison and selection Prepare commercial and technical proposals for tenders and client submissions Support value engineering by suggesting cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality Assist project teams with budget updates, variations, and progress claims Maintain updated pricing databases and records for future reference

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field Minimum 3 years of estimation experience in joinery and interior fit-out works Strong understanding of woodwork items (doors, wardrobes, reception counters, paneling, etc.) and full-scope fit-out elements Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant estimation software Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management Ability to work under pressure and within tight submission deadlines Strong communication skills and team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in UAE or GCC joinery/interior fit-out industry Familiarity with local market rates for materials and labor Immediate availability is a plus
