Joinery Factory Manager for Interior Fit-out Company We are seeking a qualified Joinery Factory Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient production of joinery projects. Job Responsibilities:
Production Planning: Develop schedules and workflows for production optimization and meeting project deadlines.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and management to synchronize production with project deadlines.
Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with storekeeping and procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of necessary raw materials and resources.
Budget Oversight: Monitor production budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial objectives.
Team Leadership: Supervise and inspire production teams of carpenters, painters, and site team to ensure efficient and high-quality output.
Quality Assurance: Establish and uphold quality control protocols to ensure adherence to standards and client specifications.
Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations to foster a secure working environment and ensure compliance with standards.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process refinement and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Troubleshooting: Address production challenges promptly, mitigating delays and disruptions through effective problem-solving.
Documentation Management: Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for tracking, analysis, and compliance purposes.
Job Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in engineering, manufacturing, or operations management. A joinery or carpentry diploma/certification is advantageous.
Experience: Prior experience in production management within joinery, woodworking, or interior fit-out industries, typically spanning 5 years or more based on project complexity.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of joinery techniques, woodworking machinery, and interior fit-out materials/processes is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. English and Hindi is a must, Arabic is preferred.
