Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for custom joinery projects. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are cost-effective, feasible, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications, architectural drawings, and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and production processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Provide timely and accurate quotes to clients.
• Work with design, production, and project teams to ensure project feasibility and cost-efficiency.
• Attend site visits and client meetings to gather project details as needed.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, quotes, and project documentation.
• Generate cost reports and update pricing databases regularly.

Requirements

• 2-3 year experience as a Joinery Estimator or in a similar role within the woodworking or construction industry.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Plan Swift, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, woodworking materials, and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
