4+ Years of UAE experience is Mandatory

Key Responsibilities :

• Cost Estimation :
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for joinery works, including wooden furniture, cabinetry, doors, windows, flooring, and other custom woodwork.
• Assess project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to prepare estimates for materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Provide cost breakdowns, including material costs, labor rates, and additional charges.
• Update and revise estimates as necessary based on changes in project scope or design.
• Material and Resource Management :
• Research and select the most appropriate materials for the project, considering factors such as quality, durability, and cost.
• Collaborate with suppliers to obtain the best rates for materials and products.
• Advise clients and project managers on material selection and alternatives to optimize cost and design.
• Collaboration and Coordination :
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure that all requirements are accounted for in the estimates.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.
• Assist the procurement team in sourcing materials at competitive prices.
• Project Support :
• Review construction drawings and blueprints to ensure all details related to joinery works are properly estimated.
• Conduct site visits (if necessary) to gather additional information and assess project requirements on-site.
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to reduce costs or avoid delays.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates, pricing, and correspondence related to the project.
• Prepare and submit formal quotations, proposals, and tender documents to clients or stakeholders.
• Track project costs against the initial estimates and report on any discrepancies.
• Budget Monitoring :
• Assist in tracking project budgets and ensuring that work is completed within the financial constraints.
• Provide regular updates on the progress of costs, budget overruns, and savings.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance :
• Ensure all work complies with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Review and analyze design drawings to ensure joinery works meet client requirements and industry standards.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field. A diploma or certificate in carpentry or joinery can be an added advantage.
