We are looking for a skilled Draftsman Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out, joinery, and other construction projects. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure design accuracy, material efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and attention to detail to meet project specifications and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and blueprints according to client specifications and project requirements.
• Develop accurate material take-offs and cost estimates based on design plans and project scope.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure alignment on project specifications and timelines.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, architectural plans, and project documents to ensure accuracy.
• Assess project requirements, including labor, materials, and equipment, to calculate estimated costs and timelines.
• Prepare and present estimation reports and cost breakdowns to project stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits, when necessary, to obtain data for design accuracy and estimation reliability.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather quotes, ensuring the best quality and cost-effective solutions.
• Continuously update and maintain records of estimates, project drawings, and related documentation for future reference.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Draftsman Estimator in the UAE, preferably within the interior fit-out, joinery, or construction sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation processes and project costing for interior and construction projects.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, construction standards, and project cost norms.
• Excellent understanding of materials used in fit-out and joinery work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for cost estimation and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail for accuracy in estimates and drawings.
• Ability to interpret project specifications, architectural drawings, and construction plans.
