Job Summary

:
Responsible for creating accurate technical and shop drawings for custom joinery and furniture projects. Ensures all designs are production-ready, meet project specifications, and align with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

:

Develop detailed joinery and furniture shop drawings using AutoCAD, PolyBoard, or CAD+T. Prepare cutting lists, material specifications, and assembly details for production. Coordinate with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure feasibility. Modify and revise drawings based on client and factory feedback. Ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and industry regulations. Collaborate with CNC programmers and factory teams for optimized manufacturing. Conduct site visits for measurements and verification when required. Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions. Stay updated on new materials, hardware, and joinery construction techniques.

Qualifications

:

Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in joinery drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PolyBoard, CAD+T, or similar software. Strong understanding of woodworking, joinery techniques, and material properties. Ability to interpret architectural and interior design drawings. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
