Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Joinery Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials required and the dimensions of structures or fixtures to be fabricated.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
• Repair and refurbish existing structures and fixtures.
• Install fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals and clients to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Joinery Carpenter or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma; successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.

Salary: Salary will be discussed and determined based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
