Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled CAD Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist our Creative Director by transforming design concepts created in SketchUp into detailed and precise AutoCAD drawings. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between initial design concepts and actionable construction plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to understand design intentions and project requirements.
- Convert SketchUp models into detailed AutoCAD drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specified dimensions and industry standards.
- Prepare technical drawings and plans for interior design projects, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
- Provide input on design feasibility and suggest modifications to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
- Ensure all drawings and specifications meet the required codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other team members to integrate design concepts into comprehensive project plans.
- Maintain and organize digital files, ensuring all CAD drawings are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Assist in the development of presentation materials, including 3D models and renderings, for client approvals and meetings.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and updates on drawing progress.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, with a strong portfolio showcasing interior design or architectural projects.
- Experience in converting SketchUp models to AutoCAD drawings.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and interior design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with creative and technical team members.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of drafting and design.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- UAE Driving License (Required)
