We are a Lamar Jewellery FZ-LLC and manufacturing company located in Dubai Production City, looking for the Jewellery experienced as Jewellery Designer with Corel Draw expertise.

Job Purpose:

A Jewellery Designer, short for Computer-Aided Designer, is a professional responsible for creating detail technical drawings and plans using computer software and for developing the 3D designs for the firm's upcoming jewellery collections.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with sales and production team member to stablish a timeline and budget for the design

Use design software (Rhino/Matric) to produce 2D and/ or 3D designs, depending on the complexity of the project.

Research to Identify the best materials for CAM & sample modelling.

Notify production manager of the designs progress and when the designs are complete.

Get feedback from the clients and respective stakeholders and revise designs as needed.

Creating high end unique and exclusive traditional and contemporary designs.

Ability to quick understand the needs of buyers and create customized designs.

Creating technical drawing: Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software (eg, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) based on project requirements and specifications.

Drafting and design: Collaborate with engineers, architects, or project managers to interpret concepts and sketches into precise, dimensioned drawings and designs.

Accuracy and precision: Ensure that drawings are accurate, adhere to industry standards, and meet regulatory requirements.

Pay meticulous attention to dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.

Modifications and revisions: Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to drawings as projects evolve or to address any issues during the design process.

Technical documents: Generate bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and technical documentation to support manufacturing, construction, or procurement process.

Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architect, project managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless project development and execution.

Software Proficiency: Stay current with CAD software updates industry best practices

Maintain proficiency in using various CAD tools and explore new software to improve efficiency and capabilities.

Quality Control: Perform regular checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of Jewellery Designer, drawings and models.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design-related issues and challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed within budget constraints.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Diploma/ Certification in designing or equivalent experience in the high-end Jewellery industry for UAE/ Overseas market

Min. 2 years of work experience as a Jewellery Designer

Well-versed in UX, Design & Architecture
