We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Jewelry Barcoding Staff to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves ensuring that our inventory management processes for fine jewelry items are executed with precision and accuracy. The Jewelry Barcoding Staff will be responsible for labeling each piece of jewelry with barcodes, which will aid in tracking inventory, enhancing security, and facilitating efficient sales. In addition, this position requires a keen eye for detail, as the staff will need to inspect items to ensure that all information is properly recorded and labeled. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will be working closely with various departments, including inventory management and sales, to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and that jewelry items are easily accessible and accounted for. Responsibilities

Label jewelry items with accurate barcode information. Perform detailed inspections of jewelry to verify quality and completeness before barcoding. Maintain an organized and efficient workspace for all barcoding activities. Coordinate with inventory management to ensure that all newly arrived jewelry is documented and barcoded promptly. Update inventory records in the database to reflect newly barcoded items and any changes in stock. Assist in managing the flow of jewelry items between departments to ensure accurate tracking and security. Participate in periodic inventory audits to ensure that barcoding and stock levels are consistent.

Requirements

experience in retail or inventory management is a plus. Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using barcode scanning technology and inventory management software preferred. Ability to lift and move light jewelry inventory as needed. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
