Job Description

Title: Jewellery Accountant
Location: Dubai - UAE
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the financial aspects of the company's accounting activities, including invoicing, accounting for local & international transactions, and ensuring compliance with import/export regulations
• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with accounting standards. Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors for yearly audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies. Ensure that internal controls are maintained and followed to minimize risks and errors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in the jewellery industry.

Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis
• Knowledge of inventory and cost management
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Strong knowledge of accounting &Jewellery software.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting.
• Proven experience in handling end-to-end accounting functions for a medium to large-sized company, preferably in a Wholesale Jewellery business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
