:ITS Network and Communications EngineerDubai, UAEParsons is seeking a skilled and experienced Network & Communications Engineer with a focus on Intelligent Transportation and Traffic Systems, to join our Intelligent Transportation Systems & Smart Mobility team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the expansion of ITS equipment coverage, aligning with the future implementation roadmap in Dubai and contributing to ongoing road development projects. As an expert in the field, the candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in Data Switching, Routing, Outside Plant & Long-haul Fiber Optic Systems design and deployment.What you will be doing:Conduct analysis of the Road Drawings and identify corridors, location for placement of Communication Devices, Fiber Optic cables and ducts.Conduct analysis of the Drawings and identify locations for placement of Devices such as Camera, Road Sensors, Bluetooth Devices, Smart City devices.Study and analyze the existing Communication Network including Active and Passive infrastructure.Perform Network Security analysis and write policy documents.Assist in preparation of the Design and Construction drawings for the Outside Plant (OSP), Fiber Communication Network.Coordinate with Authorities to get NOC approvals for Communication Systems Drawings.Produce Technical Specification and system documentation with focus on Communication Network Design.Study and Evaluate Data Communication products from different manufacturers and make necessary recommendations.Write Test Plan, User Acceptance, Site Acceptance Tests Documents.What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:Bachelor\'s degree in Communications or Electronics Engineering.Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the Communications Field such as Data Networking, Fiber Optics, Outside Plant, Ethernet Cabling, Network Security.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data setsIndustry leading Certifications such as CCNA, RCDD, CompTIA+ would be a plus.Knowledge of Transportation Traffic Systems and Transportation field network.Demonstrated experience in collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
